Could Not Determine Database Version

I've just created a fresh install of 1.5.8 on Windows Server 2022. When I open the local admin portal there is an error message below the Log In button "Could Not Determine Database Version". When attempting to login using the default credentials I receive the error: "Unknown Error Obtaining Token".

As far as I can tell the TOEM services are running an IIS is up. My apologies if I've missed something obvious, but any assistance would be appreciated.

Probably the only error I haven't received (not exactly true). I'm working with Server 2022 myself and have done more than a few clean installs trying to figure out problems, but never have run into this error yet. The only DB message that pops up when I try the web address the first time is a message to update the DB server to a more recent version.

Did you let it install the default MariaDB system during the initial install? And is that installed on a single server?

I did allow the default MariaDB install and yes, it installed on only a single server. This was on a physical box, I'm going to retry on a VM, I'll update with the results of that. Thanks!

Mine is running in a VM on XCP-ng if that helps. All the videos are running on Hyper-V but my cluster isn't set up yet so dropped back to XCP-ng. I have fits and starts with this whole thing, it's a slow slog to get where I want to be, I keep forgetting basic things or not understanding some things in policies.

It was a little easier to understand back in 1.4.8, but I don't want to run that in production so I'm just heavy handedly hammering out the things I get wrong and making slow progress with it. But I still see the light at the end of the tunnel, so slogging onward.
