I created a small kiosk image on a minimal install of Debian 13.4 and tried to upload it to Theopenem.
It gives me the following warning:
` ** Creating Image Schema **
...... Shrinking EXT Volume On /dev/sda2 (This May Take a Few Minutes)
expr: syntax error: unexpected argument '4096'
expr: syntax error: unexpected argument '103'
Warning, EXT File System Did Not Shrink Properly.
...... Complete
** Saving MBR / GPT On /dev/sda **
...... Success`
The odd thing is, I actually recreated the kiosk using Debian 12.13 and Theopenem shrinks the partition just fine!
I'm trying to gather what in the world changed between these two versions? They are both ext4 partitions. It's all very strange.
I attempted imaging using an LIE with 5.17.3x64 and 6.13.4x64-updated kernels. Both resulted in not being able to shrink the Debian 13.4 partition (also tested on a base Debian 13.0 install as well with the same results).
Any tips on how I can get Debian 13 image partitions to shrink properly? Having to rely on a drive being 500GB or higher is not ideal (especially something that's relatively small and can easily fit on a drive that is much smaller).
Thank you!
