Missing BCDx64 with the new 1.5.8 install

I install 1.5.8 along with the new WIE runner service. When I use the WIE generator I’m missing the BCDx64 file in the tftpboot folder. It says it could not copy PXE binaries to one or more com server. Toems service workflow copy PXE binaries could not find part of the path ‘c:\program files\theopenem\tftpboot\boot\BCDx64’

Did you copy the files to your tftpboot folder?

I have exactly the same problem
1.5.8 is missing BCDx64
I've copied over tftpboot folder its not there

It looks like there is a bug with the new wie runner service where the bcdx64 file is not generated. You just need to use option 2 to build the wie from the standalone tool first, then should be able to continue generating from the web after that, I'll get it fixed in the next release.

Thanks for the workaround, I'm going to run into this problem later today or next week. Testing right now and hoping to have everything including fresh images ready for January break to deploy fresh for our classes.

Was this updated in 1.5.9?

I was having trouble with it and stumbled upon this post.
Ended up building fine with the second option but still could not build it from the UI even after updating

Wanted to make sure that this was not in fact patched rather than me doing something wrong on my update.

This hasn't been fixed in 1.5.9, it was only a security patch. I still don't know what's causing this, same scripts run when called from either the web or the standalone tool, so not sure why the file isn't created from web. Are you pxe booting or USB?

PXE Booting.
I have recreated the server from scratch about 8 times because once I get to the step where I have to configure the WIE, it always says "Completed" and there is no BCD file created. My VerifyDB link also keeps turning back from a 60 to a 20. Not sure if that was a coincidence or related but there is that.

20 is fine, it can be an number, just not an error, once you manually create the wie, and merge it into the tftpboot folder, then you can just build from the web
