RE: Getting Timeout While PXE Boot attempts to load
@theopenem_admin
So I can make sure I have everything correctly disabled for ProxyBoot and I have set the correct options in DHCP and TOEMsI have set options 66 and 67 in DHCP Server.
66 points to the ip of the TOEMs server
67 is set to this pxeboot.0
I have disabled the Proxy DHCP under Admin/PXE Boot Settings
See screen shots for details
I think this is all I needed to do.
Have I missed anything as it is still can't get it to load
I am getting a different PXE Error
PXE-E16: No valid offer received.
It appears I am not getting an IP Address. It sits at " Start PXE over IPv4" for like 30 seconds and then times out with the PXE-E16 error.
I can find nothing wrong with our DHCP server.
Thanks -

@theopenem_admin
No, Don't I need to add the 2 options in our DNS then? -
RE: Getting Timeout While PXE Boot attempts to load
So I disabled the Load balancing on the DHCP servers we have. It should be setup as Failover now.
I am getting most of the time an error from PXE of PXE-E99 Unexpected Network Error.
Not exactly sure what to do with this.
I see that it is getting an IP but then it hangs
I have fired up the CD_Proxyd in debug mode and the tfpt Gui to see if I could se any issues nothing.
I am stuck dead at this point.
Thanks -
RE: Getting Timeout While PXE Boot attempts to load
@theopenem_admin
I have found one issue that I am not sure is the issue.
I see that our Director or Admin has configured Microsoft DHCP Failover.
That doesn't bother me as much as the option to load balance DHCP addresses
so could this be the issue.
I am not sure I have the credentials to remove this but if it is the problem then I have some things I will have to change.
I am thinking of just putting the cloning process into its one Vlan and having a different DHCP server all together.
Just more work and time I have to find.
Thanks for the help -

RE: Getting Timeout While PXE Boot attempts to load
Is there anything I can check on my network that could cause this.
-
RE: Getting Timeout While PXE Boot attempts to load
It appears to be happening on All devices.
I just tried several different Dell Models that have been working just fine.
I do not recall making and changes to any part of the TOEM.
Is this related the Proxy helper or the tftp server?
I don't know where to look
The proxy CFG is attached
Thanks

Getting Timeout While PXE Boot attempts to load
Getting a Time Out While PXE Boots. I believe it is from the tftp server but not sure why.
I had something similar to this back several months ago and we changed to the cd_proxyd as the proxy helper and all went away. This time ti does not seem to be working and I am stumped.
It starts to load and then when tftp send the firs file is states Client Disconnect.
See attached pics for details
I have also uploaded the Proxy Config
I have updated to the latest version of TOEM 1.3.3
Just incase
Any help is much appreciated
Thanks.

RE: Deploy Image ERROR
So am I doing something wrong did I miss something in the Fix. I can figure out what is happening. I assume from the logs that it is a second active boot partition but I am not sure why it would exist. I scrubbed the Laptop Hard drive and installed a clean Win10 ISO image downloaded from Microsoft. Then installed the drivers. I removed all partitions and only showed the UEFI Boot and the OS Drive. Yet when I clone I have 4 partitions.

@theopenem_admin
Yes the lie_upload file looks like this
I think I have it correct.

RE: Deploy Image ERROR
I am having this same issue on a Dell Latitude 5520 Laptop. How can I see the NVRAM Entries and Edit them to remove the Dual boot entries. I have reloaded the OS from a standard Windows ISO and cleared everything I can get to but I am still not getting a valid upload the files all come over but no Schema. The lag is showing more Partitions than I can see in Windows.
Thanks

RE: Image uploads with no major error but no Schema shows.
So I have tried new users, Checked Permissions on the Images folders. I am at a loss.
The Image log and some screen shots are attached. Any suggestions would be great.
I have 15 Laptops that are waiting for an image.
Thanks -
RE: Image uploads with no major error but no Schema shows.
I understand, I have tried everything I can figure out. I have one Com Server. No A/V installed on either the Server or the Client imaging Source.
I uploads the image perfect all responds image completed successfully the process shuts down the Laptop.
But even thought the image is there it does not show in the Manager. -
Image uploads with no major error but no Schema shows.
Hello Folks,
This is the Third time I have had this happen.
I created a new image on a Dell Latitude 5520 New Laptop model.
It is ACHI not RAID and not Secure Boot. Every thing uploads successfully.
No major errors other than the No Answer Timeout.
After it completes I go to the Images and take a look and have No Schema for this image. I checked both areas at the top level and then under the image profile where you can see all partitions.I think went tot the c:\Toems_local_storage\images folder and see the LAT5520 Folder that matches the image name. I look in the hd0 folder and see all the partitions all 4 look correct and we have the table file.
Last time this happened I rebooted several times cleared browser cache and then the next morning the schema showed up.
I have tried opening the TOEM Manager in several different browsers and on several different machines this time they all show it as missing.
All my other images are now working and the Schema is showing.
It seems like it is the first time I upload a new model Image.
Not sure why.
I can upload any logs you would like to review.
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks -
Timeout No Answer message
Is there anything I can do to eliminate the Timeout NoAnswer messages that I get when uploading images. I get hundreds of them on the main partition upload. Is it a network issue?
I recall that they are not a big deal it is just something that makes me wonder if I have something wrong.
Just wondering -
Ability to add some additional Columns
It would be great to be able to click and add some additional columns to the views.
The image view for example It would be nice to see if the image is protected, available on demand, and enabled.
Also if the default sort could be changed and stored.
Just little things someday -
RE: Image Load Error (Timeout NotAnswered)
OK I give up, I have Schema's today on all three of the Schema's I loaded on Friday.
I checked them after each completion. Do the get cached or stored while they are uploaded possibly.
I know where they physically get stored under the TOEMs_Local_Storage/Images.
I checked and yes they did exist on friday. But in the Web Application on the TOEM server these Schema's Did not exits they where blank.
Today they are all available.
I swear I reset the Browser and restarted the server. But nothing
When I tried to deploy I got something like no data found or something shutting down in one minute.
Is in not good to use the Server and Localhost.
Never had a problem before.
I will try the deployment tomorrow morning to make sure that the image is good.
I was also concerned about the noAnser error and this is the only device so far that has ever had that issue.
I will update the ticket if I get any further errors tomorrow
Thanks
