      @theopenem_admin Followed the process in the Universal Image video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmMzStsFnEI. Going to try again, just in case I missed something.

      @theopenem_admin Not sure where that's coming from. It's not in the answer file and it's not what I'm naming the system.

      @theopenem_admin The name that's getting applied (at least when it joins AD is THEOPEN-<serialnumber>

    • RE: Intergration with Snipe-IT

      @theopenem_admin I have <ComputerName>*</ComputerName> in my sysprep file, however when I set a computer name in the WIE box I took the screenshot of, it doesn't seem to set the name to that.

    • Intergration with Snipe-IT

      Hello,

      Loving OpenNEM, but wondering if its possible to integrate it with Snipe-IT for pulling Asset Tag numbers and setting them as the computer name for imaged devices. If that's not possible/feasible, is there a way to make it so that the Computer Name popup in WIE sets the computer name post-imaging? Screenshot of the Computer name screen I'm mentioning.

      @theopenem_admin Got it figured out. I had PreProvision Required set.

      @theopenem_admin Yep. Going to try rebuilding the image in case I messed something up.

    • Imaged machine stuck in ImageOnly status

      Hello,

      I followed the steps in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmMzStsFnEI, however I'm using WIE instead of the linux imaging enviroment. Imaging succeeds on my test system, however the system is stuck in the ImageOnly Provision Status, and it's not joining AD, nor running any policies I've assigned. Is there a way to move it from that status or am I doing something wrong in the image? It's a sysprepped image.

    • LDAP Sync issues.

      Hello,

      Just started testing OpenEM and having some issues... The LDAP sync job isn't processing. I am able to authenticate to the web interface using AD auth, and a credential test works properly. When I check the status of the sync job in Hangfire I get the following, however I'm not sure what object it's unable to find.

      There is no such object on the server.

      System.DirectoryServices.DirectoryServicesCOMException (0x80072030): There is no such object on the server.

         at System.DirectoryServices.DirectoryEntry.Bind()

         at Toems_Service.Workflows.LdapSync.GetOUs()
         at Toems_Service.Workflows.LdapSync.Run()

      Is there a way I can get OpenEM/Hangfire to produce more information? My Base DN and Search DN are both valid
