Setting up the PXE Boot Server in environments with existing DHCP Servers
-
I'm not sure how to go about this or if it's even possible, but disabling DHCP on the main router in some scenarios can be a tall order. Are there any recommended solutions for deploying to an existing network?
Great software so far, also.

You should use your existing DHCP server. Just set option 66 to your server ip and option 67 to pxeboot.0

@theopenem_admin I mean to say, the customer's router has a non-configureable DHCP server. Should i just disable theirs and run one on their TOEM server?

You would need to use the proxy dhcp server to work with an existing server, or just boot with USB instead of PXE.

@theopenem_admin I looked at your videos and couldn't grasp how to get proxy DHCP to work in this scenario. Could you create an example?
