The GPT Table is Damaged and Cannot Be Saved

  • Hello,

I'm getting an error when trying to upload a image. "The GPT Table is Damaged and Cannot Be Saved. You Must Fix This Before Uploading This Image.

Is there a setting I need to change to fix this?

  • There isn't a setting. Something is wrong with this partition table.

  • Thank you for your response!
The laptop OS boots up and works fine. This is a new Acer TMP215-41-G2-R4UF laptop that came with Windows 10. It asked if I wanted to upgrade to Windows 11 when I turned it on, so I did. Could upgrading to Windows 11 have something to do with this?

  • Anything is possible. I suspect it has a mix of gpt / legacy bios partition info that is causing the error. It could also be caused by whatever the factory uses to image the computers. I generally recommend creating generic images from VM's, or at least creating a clean image on that specific model.
