      Hello,

Loving OpenNEM, but wondering if its possible to integrate it with Snipe-IT for pulling Asset Tag numbers and setting them as the computer name for imaged devices. If that's not possible/feasible, is there a way to make it so that the Computer Name popup in WIE sets the computer name post-imaging? Screenshot of the Computer name screen I'm mentioning.

Not sure about snipe-it, but it will already name the computer post imaging automatically. If you are using sysprep, you need to make sure the <computername> tag is in your file, it will then be updated automatically.

@theopenem_admin I have <ComputerName>*</ComputerName> in my sysprep file, however when I set a computer name in the WIE box I took the screenshot of, it doesn't seem to set the name to that.

Are you sure that your sysprep answer file is being applied then? Is the computer getting a random name or the name from the original image?

@theopenem_admin The name that's getting applied (at least when it joins AD is THEOPEN-<serialnumber>

Where is that coming from, is that not what you named the computer in the registration?

@theopenem_admin Not sure where that's coming from. It's not in the answer file and it's not what I'm naming the system.

Can you attach your answer file removing all confidential info?

Looks normal, seems to me that your answer file isn't being applied? What was your sysprep process?

@theopenem_admin Followed the process in the Universal Image video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmMzStsFnEI. Going to try again, just in case I missed something.
