Deployment images using multicast
-
Dear admin:
I just need little support regarding deployment of images using multicasts. I successfully tested deploying 1 image, however when I tried to deploy simultaneously at least 5PC's using multicast, it didn't work. Im not so sure if I did it correctly this way>>> 1st) I create "Start on Demand Multicasts", then set "Session name, the image to deploy then to client count of 5". When I boot the client it stocks only in the "starting copying......" in the server tasks it shows waiting only... after long hour... waiting nothing happen.
Thank you for your time. I really appreciate you feedback.Regards,
Ben Als

Everything looks fine in the logs. Can you post a screenshot of the error? I'm guessing it just hangs. Did you try to multicast with only a single computer in the group or did you just deploy to a single computer when it worked?

Dear sir:
This is the screenshot of the multicast. I tried 2 PCs in this figure. When I start the second PC it supposedly automatically continue the same as in clone deploy since I only set my multicast count to 2. In the figure photo I need to press any key in order to continue, unfortunately when I did press any key only 1 PC starts and in every partition I have to attend to press the key. I hope I describe it correctly. I appreciate your time and effort on this issue. I really want to recommend this system to our university as part of our educational tool once I can proved all the features and advantage on this system. Thank you once again.
