@theopenem_admin I'm thinking it has something to do with the ISO I'm using to install. Going back to the drawing board on that. I'll update when/if I figure it out.
@theopenem_admin It loads several HBA and SCSI drivers, but I don't see any errors related to the hard drive, or any reference to the hard drive, for that matter. Trying to find a place I can SFTP the dmesg output file to. I'll reply as soon as I have it.
Where is there a prompt for username and password in Swagger? You need to first get a token from /Token/Get. You would use the username and password for webui to get the token.
In my situation every client has access to the SMB share, or at least in theory. I tried this: I used an UNC path for the local storage on the com server, and I am currently multicasting to two devices. I'm going to see how it goes.
Worst that will happen is it won't work, so hey...
@theopenem_admin I have not physically been to the devices to check. I'll see if I can get to the file system from remote and check. Any idea what would cause that to disappear? I do see it trying to reinstall Remotely a lot. Perhaps a policy that's trying to reinstall remotely too often?
Man, these things are awful. That let them get to TheOpenEM fine, and all the way through image selection, and they fail showing no hard drive. The BIOS on these things is so restrictive, I can't put it into Legacy Mode. I tried 5.11.10, 5.6.4 and 4.18.5. I'll come back to it in the morning.
WIW, I have the same situation, and the only thing that seemed to work for me was to make sure that all storage settings were set to local, on the main server, and secondary com servers, and to make sure upload/deploy direct to SMB was disabled. Works like a charm after that.
