When you installed toec did you collect inventory? That needs to be done if you want the imaging client to already be registered.

@theopenem_admin originally, it hung on configuring (or installing) IIS components, but I followed the guide and already had IIS installed, so that was strange to me that it tried to install it again. I uninstalled IIS and ran the installer again, but it said it was installed and I ran a repair instead of the full install.

Want me to uninstall and reinstall? The biggest problem is that it keeps telling me the machine needs a reboot even after multiple reboots, and we can't reboot it during school hours. I had to go into the registry and remove the things that the pending reboot checks for it to install.

Depends on what you are using it for. If just imaging, then no. If you are using the client, you would probably want it running, but isn't required.

I'm changing the way that login is handled in Winpe for the next release, probably in a week or so. Hopefully that will fix the login issue for Winpe.

What are you using for dhcp? Any screenshots / videos of the error would be helpful.

Yes, as far as I can tell everything is setup correctly. I can't pinpoint your issue at the moment.

@theopenem_admin Thank you so much! After the last two days of testing and use, I'm seeing speeds saturating my gigabit connection.
And reliability is now rock-solid. Before, creating images was extremely stressful, as timeouts and errors would happen more often than not, with no obvious notice. I can now create images without worry.

      Thanks again!

In the image profile, deploy options you can set the destination hard drive, such as /dev/sda. You can create an additional profile if only some computers have multiple drives.

It's the same for all pxe modes. Won't boot to hd most of the time.

You can do an efi boot with ipxe.

@theopenem_admin said in how to configure WOL in different subnet?:

You just need to install a com server in that subnet. then define a wol server in admin settings-> wol relays. Assign the new com server to serve that gateway.

      Thanks... it works..

Yes. If you are using the proxy you need to add an ip helper to the proxy just like any other dhcp server. If not using proxy you just need to set your scope options for that subnet.
