Removing and Reinstalling Remotely
-
Somehow I have a client who didn't have the ConnectionInfo.json file, and I can't seem to get Remotely to reinstall. We've uninstalled remotely and toec, removed the folders from both Program Files and ProgramData, but it STILL thinks Remotely is there, and won't reinstall it.

Is there anything else I can get rid of on the client, to allow me to force a remotely reinstall?

The only thing that is checked is the the remotely service. When you remove remotely is the service being uninstalled?

I'll find out. Thanks,.

@theopenem_admin Apparently it's leaving the entry in Services, but it can't be started or removed. Off to the registry I go.

sc config delete Remotely_Service

System was in another city. And I didn't have any decent remote shell options available. Remote regedit worked tho
