Image Upload always hangs at 9.86%
-
First time attempting this.
Created the gold-image VM, sysprep'd and toec-prep'd it.
Booted to the deployment USB and started upload. I see the image show up in the web console, and I see the images/imagename directory appear in local storage.However, the VM itself gets to the Filesystem FAT32 upload piece, instantly hits 9.86% completed, and then sits there... for days.
I've tried changing the local storage location in case it was a disk issue or space issue, no luck. I've rebooted/re-run the image multiple times, and always get hung at 9.86%.
No idea where to go from here.

Are there any files in the images/imagename directory?

@theopenem_admin
There's a schema file, and an hd0 folder, inside which is a table file. -
What hypervisor, could be a kernel issue

@theopenem_admin
Windows 10, HyperV. -
Have you tried disabling the firewall to rule that out
-
@theopenem_admin
assuming you mean on the HV host, not on the machine being imaged?
If so, yes - just disabled firewall and rebooted/re-ran a new image upload.
9.86% and holding, same 2 files in local storage, no progress. -
On the server where Theopenem is installed
-
@theopenem_admin
yep. Toem server is also the HV host, in this case. So it really shouldn't have any issue... talking to itself. All storage is local, direct connected disks.
screenshot attached, if that helps any. -
Looks like your hyperv switch is using a nat or something. Is your switch set to external?
-
@theopenem_admin
It wasn't, no. Looks like that may have done the trick, we're already at 10% now and that's farther than I've seen it go all week
