Error during deployment
-
Hi,
I'm facing an issue during deployment.
It's totally impossible to deploy any image in my device, whatever I've tried.
Actually, when I choose an image to deploy, I get many errors and in the end, the system reboots (pictures of different steps below).
I'm facing this issue only on one type of device.
It's a scale with W10 LTSB OS.
Model : Mettler Toledo FreshWay FW-V 15D
BIOS : American Megatrends V. 2.17.1249.
I have no any problem to deploy my different images on other devices (desktop, laptop).
I've tried to change some settings in the BIOS :- disabling hibernation
- SATA mode already in AHCI
- changing boot order, even if I don't think it's impacting...
There is only one disk : SATA SSD 120GB.
I didn't had any issue to upload images from this device.
Here attached errors from one of deployments attempt. My Theopnem version : 1.4.4
Used PXE Bootloader : winpe_efi64FrontEnd.log

Thank you for your help !

Can you also attach the upload log?

Here attached the upload log.

Something weird going on with partition tables. It looks like your partition tables are set to GPT but you are booting in legacy bios mode. In your image profile deploy options, try setting the create partitions method to standard instead of dynamic.
-
Thanks for your answer. I'll try it and let you know.
-
It's still the same, here is the log.
-
According to that log your partition method is still set to dynamic.
-
How can I change the Create Partition Method ?
In Admin Settings > Image Profile Templates
I change the Image Type to WinPe
and the Create Partition Method to Standard (I don't forget to update Templates). But when I deploy an image, the log file still shows as dynamic.
-
That is just the template you are changing which changes the default settings for new images. You need to change it on the image itself. Select view on the image and then select image profiles.
-
I am able to deploy the image now !
However, when I changed the create partitions method to standard, I had to select only the main partition with the operating system. I don't know if it's normal.
I had also the following message :
"When Using A Standard Partition Layout Only One Partition With The Operating System Can Be Active."Also, when I deploy the image, I still have some errors at the beginning of deployment despite it works.
-
That is all normal.

Hello,
I'm encountouring an issue again.
I deployed my image in order to make some changes on it.
But when I uploaded it, and try to deploy it again, it displays some errors.
So I tried to change the deploy image profile to standard, as you adviced me, but it's still not working.
Here attached the upload and deploy logs.
I put both deploy logs (with dynamic method and standard).Thank you for your help.

Hi, could you please help me with this ?
Thanks.
-
I just did my first deployment of capturing an image and that appears to look normal to me. Go to images and check your images and look at the LIE block size you should also see your hdd soze captured.
-
When you selected the standard option, it looks like your hard drive or partition isn't set to active in the web ui.
-
I tried to capture a new image.
When I check it on web UI, I can sse it makes less than 100 mb.When I check the image schema, there is no image file found for the first two partitions and the third one has no server size.
Something goes wrong with the upload process.
I attach the upload log of this image.
Thanks for your help.

Is this Win11?
-
Try this fix if it's Win11, maybe even if it's not.
It looks like there was an issue with WinPE and Windows 11. A fix has been released.

Hi,
I tried what you told me, but it's still the same...
The OS is Windows 10 LTSB.
-
That log looks normal. There still isn't any file size? Does it seem like it's uploading partition 3? Or is it very quick?
