@theopenem_admin I have a Windows 11 Education VM. I installed Toec and issued Toec.exe --prepareImage command in powershell. Placed unattend.xml sysprep file in C:\Windows\System32\Sysprep. I left it in audit mode. I know, it's sloppy, but I was just testing.

Ah, yes, that does the trick. The dashboard is slow to load when I click to that tab, but now logging in is quick.
      Thanks!

@apshoupe One of the issues thats happening, is sysprep is not running the setupcomplete.cmd file. Im playing around with the timeouts on the image to see if sysprep needs additional time to install drivers. I am not sure why this is happening, but yeah.... Thats where we are. It is suppose to be creating a folder in c:\ but thats not happening. I have even added the additional ErrorHandler.cmd file to see it will run that as a failsafe but it is not.

@theopenem_admin I have been able to confirm that an image run with iPXE on the same machine with the same BIOS settings will boot direclty to the deployed OS on automated post-image reboot. I was able to monitor the run and verify that it was not going into PXE and coming up against the iPXE boot menu timeout.

Again, not sure what the trigger is, but it seems to be isolated to the WIE.

@theopenem_admin I figured it out. I had to rebuild my bootable ISO file with the new HD drivers added to the WinPE iso. Once I did this it worked fine. I have learned with each new piece of hardware we introduce into our network, I usually just go through these steps out of habit.

Yes secure boot disabled when generating usb booting key is ok now i see the status and kernel loading.
I ran into another problem, drive is encrypted, even if its not enabled on the client machine
So if it could help others:
      I launched in CMD:

      manage-bde -off C:

      Also to see progress:

      manage-bde -status C:

I will retry in a few minutes to upload image.
Still got the same error in com server log could not find the path, but hopefully its because of encrypted drive.
      Thanks

We have a baseline of installs for each machine we have on our network

so things like firefox, chrome, 7zip, vlc, zoom

I have each one of these setup as a singular module per msi and then in the policy I am selecting each module to install.

ill check the service log again and go over it

@theopenem_admin I should add that I have 2 openem servers sharing this location, do I need to setup the 2nd server differently than the first server:

      Topology:

Colorado network One Openem server with PXE
California network One Openem Sever with PXE

Both share the same smb directory

The image that I am trying to use was uploaded on the Colorado network

      Any help is appreciated !

      Thanks,

      Aran

@theopenem_admin The Linux environment works fine yes. The problem it doesn't work as smoothly for deployment because of the need to change boot settings for secure boot.

Yea you need to create the image with it set to AHCI, and each computer you deploy to will need to be AHCI. Your volume license is the best bet. You can use the Windows image environment if you want to leave raid on, but when using linux it must be AHCI.
